From October 28–30, the world’s leading pharmaceutical exhibition, CPHI Frankfurt 2025, successfully concluded in Frankfurt, Germany. YINO Biologic made a remarkable appearance at the event, presenting a range of green solvents and raw materials designed for the pharmaceutical industry, and showcasing cutting-edge innovations in biobased technology that drive sustainable pharmaceutical development.
In pharmaceutical manufacturing, the choice of solvents and raw materials not only determines process safety and environmental performance but also directly affects product purity and production efficiency. YINO Biologic utilizes non-food biomass corncob as its primary raw material, achieving carbon reduction and resource efficiency from the very beginning. The company has established a green supply chain covering the entire process from raw materials to end products. At the exhibition, YINO highlighted several high-performance sustainable products, including 2-Methyltetrahydrofuran (2-MeTHF) — a green solvent for active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) synthesis that effectively replaces traditional THF, significantly reduces volatile organic compound emissions, and enhances both reaction safety and efficiency; 3,4-Dihydro-2H-Pyran (DHP) — a key intermediate for high-end protecting groups and fine chemical synthesis; and δ-Valerolactone (δ-VL) — a next-generation high-purity cyclic ester widely used in pharmaceutical excipients and polymer development. These innovations fully demonstrate YINO’s strength in green chemistry and sustainable material development.
During the exhibition, YINO Biologic’s booth attracted numerous visitors from Europe, India, North America, and Asia, becoming a focal point on the show floor. Many international pharmaceutical companies and API suppliers expressed strong interest in YINO’s green solvent substitution solutions, carbon reduction strategies, and compliance standards, leading to in-depth discussions on future collaboration. Several partners recognized that YINO’s non-food biobased solutions provide practical and effective pathways for pharmaceutical enterprises to achieve sustainable R&D and production optimization, helping global customers build low-carbon, efficient, and environmentally responsible supply chains.
